One-month residential teacher training on micro-learning strategy in Rajasthan's Tonk district

The training strategy of micro-learning is being used which is downward extension of multi-grade multi-level teaching to standardize the learning segments on daily basis and making formative assessment and remedial teaching an integral part of classroom process, said the training module designer, Dr Lalit Kishore. The training that started on April 19 will conclude on May 18 at Jhilay village of Niwai .

"Since rural government schools' girl students in Rajasthan had not been performing well in science, maths and English, it was thought to provide them academic support through the NGO sector for coming three months.For this, a workshop to crystallize a model of coaching was envisaged.
