A mini-book, with basic science symbols, was created and tried on a gifted child studying in grade seven in US through demonstration, guided learning, and supervised practice followed by home assignment of drawing each visual symbol four times for deep learning and internalization. The outcome is that when a gifted child undergoes a designed intervention to enhance gift or potential with learning environment and process based on principles of social pedagogy and instructional pedagogy in place, the child hones the new skill towards self-actualisation to a still higher level.

A clinical trial of intervention of reading task sheets for math topics through outlining skill, word search puzzle and crossword puzzle was done on grade-seven female student was done for 10 hours spread over 5 learning episodes of 150-200 words each. After the trial, the student reported better readiness for receiving of the topic-learning in classroom being taught by the teacher and better acquisition of reasoning and logic of steps in doing the sums (Kishore, 2019).

In an experiment on reading math with one-on-one clinical setting, a female student of grade seven, reacted positively and reported better confidence due to micro-learning based self-effort. It was seen that after some persistence and struggle with math reading, better insights into math concepts develop. Task-based reading exercises in math are helpful for both gifted children since they make them autonomous learners and children with dyscalculia since they help them in developing vocabulary first for making better sense of written work in math (Kishore, 2019)

At the middle school level, core visual vocabulary development of geometry is a must for better understanding of this area of knowledge. Often, in a conventional classroom of geometry instruction, the assorted figures are given with a number of parts labelled creating a figure background distraction. It is essential to build the visual vocabulary of each component or part of a geometrical figure separately by adhering to the principle of learning - 'from parts to whole'. This provides clarity in visual perception. This also gives the learner a skill proficiency in picture reading and enhances his or her visual intelligence (Kishore, 2019)

The procedure-bound transaction of teacher-created mini-book through paper folding was experimented for micro-learning of science visual symbols in one-to-one situation. The book was transacted by the teacher and guided-remedial learning was provided. Thereafter, the student was asked to complete the exercises in the mini-book at home. Being a micro-learning task (small content) to be completed the same day (in-time deep learning), it resulted in better recall (page-wise recollection of matter) by the student (Kishore, 2019)

Research studies in neuro-science and whole brain learning have implicated use of visual mathematics to help students to understand the subject and lead them to better learning and doing of numerical mathematics. Visual mathematics also makes math learning gender inclusive as it appeals to the right hemisphere of the brain (Kishore, 2019)

A lesson study is viewed as a quick formative classroom inquiry in which three or more teachers or other interested stakeholders (educators, pedagogues, psychologists, and caregivers) collaboratively discuss, plan, teach, observe, revise and share the results of a single class lesson called research lesson of 40 minutes to one hour. (Kishore, 2019)

When learners are afforded opportunity to demonstrate their learning on monthly basis through exhibition of their work or presentations, they revise and refine their learned material. A school based research study revealed that exhibition of students work in the form of puzzles, maizes, riddles and pattern poetry, resulted in better attitude and reactions towards studies.

Mastery learning instructional plam for secondary students consists of curriculum split into monthly study units transacted through teacher led instruction followed by peer-tutoring, individual guidance and remediation until the mastery over study unit is achieved as demonstrated by a criterion referenced test. The students pace through the study units by demonstrating mastery on each unit. Quality of instruction is seen as 80X80 criterion in this instructional plan (Kishore , 2019).

Citation note: Using overhead projector and pre-prepared transparencies, chemistry to senior students was taught by two physics teachers in the absence of chemistry teacher. The transparencies worked as lesson plans and at times the blank transparencies replaced the chalkboard. The main advantage was that the teachers could face the students all the time and talk to them with eye-to-eye contact. Students reacted positively to the use of overhead projector for classroom instruction and even helped the teachers in producing revision transparencies.
