Individually Guided System of Instruction (IGSI) of the NCERT was tried to significantly effect the scientific attitude of senior secondary students since not only it improved their achievement score but also scientific attitude characterised by rationality, suspended judgment and humility since the instructional method emphasized criterion-referenced evaluation with a sense that learning is continuous improvement process with a feel that there is so much to learn and there is an end-less scope to refine knowledge.
