An experiment with Rate-centred learning in science using graded worksheets at middle school level was undertaken by Dr. Lalit Kishore as investigator to shift the emphasis to rate-centered self-learning in science at the grade level six in the Kendriya Vidyalaya No. 2, Bathinda by preparing and implementing the structured and sequenced worksheets. The experiment was found efficacious in terms of students’ achievement and their significantly positive reactions.

Besides learning of computer science as a discipline, use of computers in schools are impacting teaching profession and classroom instruction in many ways. Computer assisted learning along with online instructional programs, evaluation and management information systems have thrown up new possibilities in educational delivery system. Computers are going to manage data effectively, enhance use audio-visual aids in classroom processes and make communication faster between various role plays in education.

According to spiritualist Sri Sri Ravi Shankar, teachers can be a living example to their students. It’s not that teachers should look for students to idealize them. One who is worth idealizing does not care whether others idealize them or not.
