Some common language learning difficulties encountered by children with special needs

According to Kishore (2019), a teacher must assess the language learning difficulties of children and run a course to mitigate the difficulties before start teaching of language. The following table gives the list of common difficulty areas which can be specifically assessed to design a thirty-hour transitional course to language learning for the school entrants. It has been suggested the course should be phonic in nature for building vocabulary and mental images to ready children for language development.
