For his work, Dr Kishore received National Award for Science popularization among Children institted by Department of Science and Technology in 1989 as well as the Commonwealth Award for his innovative work in STEM education. For the years 2018 and 2019, Dr Kishore has won Commonwealth Award for his educational innovations designed for children with special needs.
