Doodle art can be used as therapeutic activity for children with special needs

Kishore, Awasthi & Tikkiwal (2018) implemented a ten-hour doodle art intervention as pre-wring fine motor training and developed a special educators’ manual which describes activities of doodle drawing, balancing and decoration of the sections of the doodle with patterns of the writing strokes. The intervention improved the attentiveness, coordination skills, fine-motor movement by working directly on the writing surface and write utensils instead troublesome transition due to fixation with the pre-school kit and tools.
