The issue of gender equity needs to be addressed in the areas of education, employment, advocacy and social policy. A beginning at school level needs to be made for de-sexing science and technology education by emphasizing collaborative and cooperative methods along restructuring textual material subscribing right-hemispheric functions of expressive arts and use of dual codes (Kishore 2019)
