Kishore (2019), on the bases of his earlier work on Mastery Learning Strategy for instruction reiterates that at senior secondary and onward education. He argues that since the strategy incorporates organization of curriculum into study units; permits freedom of pace of learning; unit-wise formative evaluation and individual guidance which lead to high achievement scores for most students. He spells out the features of study units for mastery learning as 7-10 units for a given grade, study-wise assignments with self testing and corrective feedback; set of questions for mastery testing and revision summary.
