Mental polarization is associated with the segregation within the mind, in thinking or in intellect in terms dualities and multiplicities resulting into liking one end of spectrum and disliking the other end. At the spiritual level, a mind caught in dualities brings about strife and sorrow. Spirituality deems both liking and disliking as attachments that cause strife.
