"Unfortunately, even the special schools dedicated to children with special needs and run by various NGOs have not reformed their school system which requires the Individual Education Plans for each child in the light the enactment of law of 2016. Presently, the most suffered are the children with specific learning disabilities who get thrown out of mainstream schools and special schools do not have the preparedness and staff to accommodate them," said the the caregiver of a child with dysgraphia disability in Jaipur adding that the government was only interested in distributing aids and appliances to mentally-abled impaired people.
