To redeem the respect of teachers in the society LJ carried out Programmes and Activities 1. Ensuring that sweeping criticism of teachers is avoided. 2. Respect for teachers made a part of training of management personnel, field level LJ workers, Village Education Committees ( VECs), etc. 3. Involving teachers’ associations in all forums of LJ. 4. Providing teachers with proper facilities for work. 5. Piloting an objective policy for postings and transfers of teachers.
