A comparative study of attention response of students with respect various teaching methods in physics

According to Kishore and Mehndiratta (1973) , a pedagogical experiment of teaching methods on grade VIII students for physics instruction was tried out which revealed that out of four methods students liked the demonstration method the most. Even the well planned conventional method making use of the chalkboard and hands-on investigatory project could not retain their attention. Children when they are transitioning to the gade nine, start distancing themselves from hands-on experiences as well as lecture method. They wish to see things happening and infer for conceptual learning.
