Nuwara Eliya in Sri Lanka is a city in the hill area of its Central Province and its name means the ‘city of light’ which works as a popular tourist destination because of the picturesque landscape and temperate climate along with some some spots worth visiting. Most tourists from India and Hindus from other parts of the world come here to visit Ashok Vatika wherein Lord Rama’s wife was kept captive by King Ravana. The place now has a temple dedicated to Sita Mata called Seetha Kovil.
